Hey there writer!

I'm glad you're here

Maybe you’ve finished a draft, or maybe you’re still holding onto an idea you love but don’t quite know how to begin. Either way, you care deeply about this book—and you’re probably wondering what it needs next.

If you’re feeling unsure, stuck, or overwhelmed, you’re not alone. Writing is a process, and uncertainty is part of it.

Worry not

It doesn’t have to feel this confusing.

No two writers start in the same place. Editing and coaching aren’t about judgment or perfection. They’re about clarity, guidance, and learning how to strengthen what you’re creating—one thoughtful step at a time.

My role is to help you understand your story more deeply, identify what’s already working, and show you where it can grow, so you can move forward with confidence.

What We Do

From First Draft to Publication-Ready

I work with writers at many stages of the journey, including:

First-time authors who feel nervous sharing their work

Authors investing seriously in professional editing, whether self-publishing or submitting to agents

Writers with an idea or early draft who don’t know where to begin

Authors who want guidance, structure, and support through coaching

Whether you need big-picture feedback, sentence-level polish, or one-on-one guidance to help you start or move forward, my approach is always collaborative, judgment-free, and centered on your voice.

You don’t need to have everything figured out before reaching out. That’s what I’m here for.

The Editing Process

A simple, step-by-step process designed to support your story and give you peace of mind from start to finish.

Clipboard with question mark, checkmarks, and pencil for quizzes or surveys.

Get Started

Ready to take the next step? Start by filling out the contact form and telling me a bit about your manuscript. Share what stage your project is in, what kind of support you’re looking for, and any deadlines you’re working toward.

This helps me understand your needs before we connect, so our next conversation is focused, productive, and tailored to your project.

Connect

We’ll connect in a complimentary consultation call where we talk through your manuscript, your goals, and where you’re feeling stuck or unsure.

Together, we’ll determine which service best supports your project right now and outline the most helpful next steps. There’s no pressure to commit—just thoughtful guidance and an honest assessment of what will serve your story best.

Sample

For line editing and proofreading projects, I provide a complimentary sample edit so you can see my approach in action. This gives you a clear sense of how I work and what you can expect from the editing process.

I’ll also put together a personalized proposal based on your manuscript and goals, so everything is transparent before we move forward.

Contract

Once you’re ready to proceed, I’ll send over a simple contract outlining the scope, timeline, and next steps. A service deposit is collected at this stage to reserve your spot in my calendar and officially begin the project.

I keep this step straightforward and stress-free.

Edit

This is where you can take a breath. While I dive into your manuscript and focus on the editing work, you can step back knowing your story is being handled with care, attention, and respect for your voice.

I approach every project thoughtfully, keeping your goals and readers in mind throughout the process.

Deliver

When the edit is complete, I’ll return your manuscript along with any supporting materials and schedule a follow-up call. This gives us time to walk through feedback, answer questions, and make sure you feel confident about your next steps.

You’ll leave this stage with clarity, direction, and a stronger manuscript.

Genres I Love Working With

I work with fiction and narrative-driven projects, and I tailor feedback to your genre, goals, and voice. If you don’t see your genre listed, reach out anyway.

Kind words from writers

“Before working with Anna, I knew my story had potential, but the pacing felt uneven and a few character choices didn’t land the way I wanted. Her developmental feedback was incredibly clear and organized. She helped me see what to fix first, what could wait, and how each change would strengthen the whole arc. I walked away with a real revision plan and way more confidence in the manuscript.”

Mystery Writer

"I didn’t need a full edit yet—I needed someone to tell me what was working and what was missing in my manuscript. The assessment gave me exactly that. The editorial letter was detailed and honest, but still encouraging. It clarified the biggest issues, explained why they mattered, and gave me helpful steps I could actually follow."

Fiction Writer

"I kept starting and stopping because I wasn’t sure where to start. Coaching gave me structure and momentum. Each session left me with clear goals, and I finally stopped second-guessing every page. Having someone in my corner who could answer questions, keep me on track, and help me problem-solve made finishing my draft feel doable."
