The Big Idea

A 10-week one-on-one coaching experience to help you build a strong, confident story outline.

Starting a book can feel exciting—and overwhelming. Maybe you have an idea you love but don’t know how to turn it into a complete story. Maybe you’ve started writing and now feel stuck, unsure how everything fits together. Or maybe you’ve always wanted to write a book but don’t know where to begin.

Build a Strong Foundation Before You Draft

The Big Idea is designed to help you take that idea and turn it into a strong, intentional story plan. Through guided coaching, we’ll break down the core elements of your story and build a clear foundation you can confidently draft from.

This service focuses on understanding story structure, developing compelling characters, and creating a clear, workable outline—so you can move forward into drafting with direction and confidence.

Weekly One-on-One Coaching Sessions (60-90 mins each)

Over the course of 10 weeks, we’ll meet weekly for personalized coaching sessions. Each session includes:

  • Review of your previous week’s work

  • Thoughtful feedback and guidance

  • Teaching and discussion around story structure and craft

  • Clear direction for the next step

You’ll receive guided worksheets and exercises to complete between sessions, designed to help you apply what we discuss and build your outline gradually and intentionally.

A Judgment-Free Coaching Space

Writing is a learning process. You don’t need to have all the answers, and you don’t need to be “good enough” to start. My role is to guide you, support you, and help you understand how stories work at a pace that feels manageable and encouraging.
